Yummy City is the latest name and change of ownership for the restaurant which began as Small House and then became Szechuan House. As far as I know, it is not affiliated with the Cantonese restaurant called Yummy House across town. As before, this restaurant is focused on Szechuan Chinese cuisine. As far as I know, it is not affiliated with the Cantonese restaurant called Yummy House across town. As before, this restaurant is focused on Szechuan Chinese cuisine. They have changed the menu a fair amount, or at least added photos and printed it in a more appealing and easier-to-navigate format. Some of the Chinese to English translations are a bit lacking, but overall the menu is an improvement. There are a few new dishes but overall it seems the original constellation of dishes is intact, which is a good thing.

The dishes I've tried such as the boiled sliced lamb, the sweet-and-sour fish with pine nuts, and their hot and sour soup have been pretty good. I think Gator Suyaki may still have an edge on them overall though and the service here is not terribly attentive while atmosphere could still be improved upon. Also, they only have beer and wine now: the second owners tried expanding to a full bar with liquor but for whatever reason, that now appears to be gone.

One thing I can certainly say for them though is that the portions are absolutely huge, especially of the entrees. Probably the largest portions I've seen at any Chinese restaurant.

I don't recommend automatic car washes at all, but if you must use one in Gainesville... This is the one. They have a station where you can pre wash problem areas that automatic car washes can't always get. They have several car wash options ranging from $5-$15.
I personally like the $15. Plus, vacuuming is free for 10 minutes. The vacuum suctions could be better, but what beats free??
