    I honestly don’t understand why some people assign such horrible motivations to an open group of collaborators. Do they think we are part of a grand conspiracy? I came from the outside and found Core open and welcoming.

    No it doesn't, SegWit is itself absurdly complex, obfuscates the code for newcomers. Most of all, it lays the groundwork for a future that requires expert input from the same insular caste of expert.

    fees to high? Unusable? Hate it? Me too! Could not download a CD in the early 90ies? Hated it too! You have invested in early tech! Some people think and work day and night so solve this issue in a way Bitcoin can survive centuries! Have faith. Give us time.

    We also have to understand & accept that linear scaling through blocksize increases can never match exponential growth in use cases or transactions. Pain now is better than poor engineering decisions that don't actually solve problems.

    We have seen reports that S. 1241 would somehow criminalize the undisclosed possession of digital currency. This is not at all the case, and there is nothing in this bill that comes even close to that.

    That’s how anyone should ask for any consensus change. BTC is permissionless innovation except when it comes to changing rules and then it requires everyone’s permission.

    The quoted chart shows a totally unrealistic price for BitcoinCash that existed momentarily on one exchanges botched trading launch. should have a higher standard for market prices.

    This kind of misleading propaganda is unfortunate. Smart money isn't going to fall for BitcoinCash or AltCoin #1931, but if main stream media is helping pump those things, the individual investor at home is going to be the one losing out.

    Watch this if you want to be infuriated. There are many good and thoughtful reasons to be skeptical or critical of Bitcoin, so I don't understand why FUD re Bitcoin always seems to be based on misrepresentations. Kudos to for keeping his cool.
