The recognition of Jerusalem as Israeli capital is a blunder of epic proportions. Both dems and GOP have disingenuously dangled this for votes but none were dumb enough to do it. Now, GOPrs will cheer, but 98% of them won't know the issues. World is condemning us. Figure out why.

In my day of "Save America" proposals, the next one: 1. Simplify registration. 2. Fed law requires all states to have 6 weeks early voting and mail-in ballots. 3. Provide receipts to all voters. 4. Impose a progressive "I didn't vote" tax, starting at $100. (W/ some exemptions.)

Everybody has to sacrifice to get out of the fiscal mess we are in. We have to care for future generations at least as much as for ours. 2 many of us dont vote, or pat ourselves on the back for protest votes, or dont read what fails 2 reinforce our beliefs. This is the price.

One more piece: Eliminate deductibility of interest on loans corporations use for stock buybacks. Taxpayers should not be financing what is essentially legal stock manipulation by companies that think they have no place better to put their money.

Ppl are confused about business deduction piece: If u have a 28% rate & deduct a dollar, u get 28 cents, not a dollar, in tax savings. This plan would create a phantom 40% & 50% rate for employment/factory building. Wouldn't PAY that rate, but save 40 cents, 50 cents per dollar.

Now 2 anger all. We must: 1. Raise top tax rates. 2. Remove payroll tax income cap. 3. Means test SSI 4. Cut Medicare reimbursement rates 5. Require MD student who take loans to see Medicare pts. 6. Cut military 7. Raise VA. Then, when mess fixed, raise Medicare reimburse rate.

My tax reform: 1. Bizness can deduct at a 40% rate new hire costs, & 50% rate 4 cost for building plants. 2. Mid class rates cut, personal exemp raised. 3. Payroll tax rate cut, cap lifted on income limit. 4. Top rate lifted 2% TA-DA! I just did what GOP CLAIMS, & cut deficit.
