    Super proud of my students for designing, 3D printing, wiring, testing and successfully implementing a joystickfor mouse control on our giant . I love their eagerness to take on and create their own challenges.

    Data Representation, Storage and Pixels. We have been using the Pixel Art app to see how computers use a numerical code to store data and represent colours. The junior primary students created their own examples digitally and unplugged. Module 2 activity?

    I passed my Twitter challenge of creating a giant to my STEM super⭐️s today. They didn’t even flinch. The amount of praise and thanks I recieved for letting them create and learn was only outweighed by the elations of joy.

    A1. I was very interested to find out that reports suggest that the gender gap (and job gap) is in the computer science aspect of STEM. Going on this, the 'T' in STEM really should include as much computer science as possible, particularly for girls.

    Q1 The STEM Partnerships Forum and Gonski Report all consider the engagement of ‘Girls in STEM’ to be a focus, what are your thoughts?
