    Ask any 400 hurdler they'll tell you they find running 400 with hurdles easier than the flat. It's about rhythm.

    I'm obviously biased toward the 400 and would like to agree BUT, when guys run the 800 for time instead of tactically its harder than 400.

    The 400 is the hardest race in Track & field, some races requires speed & some require endurance.. the 400 requires both.
