After talking to several national civil rights attorneys, yes this is my conclusion. Any litigation about this will force courts to look at fines and fees in criminal statutes that were never tied to the right to vote -- but now might be.

says ultimately Beckham will get a new stadium, playing fields for kids, everything that comes with having a soccer complex in Fort Lauderdale. Plus the team will play at Lockhart for two seasons.

Miami’s team will begin life playing in Fort Lauderdale as it negotiates with the city of Miami to build a stadium where a golf course now sits. Does this help or hurt the effort to build a soccer stadium and a big complex in Miami? Send us your thoughts.

In 2013, Haiti depended on PetroCaribe for 93% of its petroleum import, says. At it's peak, PetroCaribe was sending 200,000 barrels of oil to the Caribbean. Now that's pretty much gone.
