On Fri. I received a briefing from officials about potential impacts of Pres. Trump's emergency declaration on the Portsmouth Naval Shipyard. Tomorrow I'll vote to override his veto to protect these projects, Shipyard workers, & our national defense.

Today the KC-135 departed Pease Air Natl. Guard Base for the final time. This marks the end of the line for the oldest plane in the American fleet - an aircraft that 1st took flight in 1957. I look forward to joining the to welcome new KC-46As in the coming months.
