Today, I vetoed Senate Bill 1212, which would have eliminated the requirement to complete a short firearms safety and training course from a certified instructor and demonstrate competency with a pistol before carrying a gun in public.

Pleased to help celebrate the dedication of Commercial Metals Company's micro mill in Durant. The technologically advanced mill, which has about 250 employees, produces higher yields with lower energy consumption than the traditional mini mill process.
