What do we need to do to eliminate poverty around the world? Two big reports today: one from looking at financing gap; and one from looking mainly at non-aid policies such as trade, finance & security. I'm in favour of both ("trade and aid", not "trade not aid").

Very good paper by the IMF. Their research also shows similar results for more women on regulatory bodies. Now, can the IMF monitor how countries are doing as part of its annual financial checkup of member countries?
