Powerful but heartbreaking reading. Thank you . Our team, supported the passing of the Medivac Bill in the 45th Parliament, we will not support its repeal in this one. Australia, we are better than this.

Horrible. Horrible. Horrible. What’s happening here? Surely you can come to an agreement for a humane solution? Please, these people are hurting, it’s too much. Get together, for the good of the country. Find a way together, for all of us.

Bless you for once again standing up for and calling out the politics of fear that seek to dehumanise refugees and make us afraid instead of welcoming those seeking our protection.

is telling the truth. The Coalition Gov up until the last election had spent more on a statue of Captain Cook than on new investment on stopping male violence against women. These were things created for the purpose of the election, they were shamed into it.

It was very shocking to see the tweet of shadow immigration minister dispute what is happening on Manus/Nauru now. Do you have any idea of the current situation or not? & for how long will the Labor party back this cruel & inhumane policy that tortures vulnerable ppl

People are allowed to arrive by plane and ask for asylum. People are also allowed to arrive by boat and ask for asylum. They’ve escaped the same wars. They’ve escaped the same dangers. They’ve escaped the same persecution.
