Man, the webserver union is strong in Minnesota: "Normal hours of operation are between 6 a.m. and 6 p.m. Central Time, Monday through Friday."

where does the "d" come from? why not frig?

    Plane vs aeroplane
    Bus vs omnibus
    Bike vs bicycle
    Phone vs Telephone

    What's to be bothered by?

    Claes Wallin (韋嘉誠) at 2016-07-10T22:56:20Z

Oh, that. One has etymology, the other is just phonetic? Still doesn't bother me. Here's what really bothers me:

    pronounce vs pronunciation

Is there a way to manually add sites to accept location on the #Android version of #Chrome? I've got to get this set up on my phone for a sports consulting gig. Client's instructions do not work.

I suppose it should be noted that I was using Chrome, so that should not be the problem. !tempfix

Anybody else use the Google call features on GNU/Linux? I use it pretty much singularly as my phone, but it's not working. The mic works fine in audacity. !tempfix

confirmed NS server working. However, I'm still not going to be paying attention to pump for a bit. I'll probably check after FLOSS Weekly is posting on Tuesday, but I am beyond busy. There is a large part of me that says I should not have decided to be on FLOSS Weekly, but it seemed like an opportunity too big to pass up. !tempfix

I'm not sure how long it will take to start up the process, but I think the NS server should be up before too long. !tempfix

Anybody know of a !ccmusic band (preferable !freeculture) that is like The Letters Organize? I realize I'm probably the person to ask for such things, but I think probably Chotto Ghetto is the closest I know. Something off quote unquote records or that Indonesian netlanel whose name escapes me, but I haven't had a lot of time to search for new music. When I've tried to set up interviews its been mostly through suggestion and by location, not by genre. Also, just going through the netlabel lists. Chotto Ghetto is good, but I need something new.

    From GNU Social :

RT @bob Apparently Facebook has shut down its XMPP gateway. Maybe another opportunity to persuade any casualties that Facebook is not a good idea and that open standards are better.

Probably the most interesting this about my Last.fm is the drop-off in 2011. This was the first full year of Wendy. http://www.last.fm/user/DouglasAWh/library/artists?page=2 -- it's not the only thing that happened that year, but it's the only thing that's been consistent since then. It make sense. I never watched as much TV before her.

is there a way to sort last.fm alphabetically? I think this is the only way I am going to remember/figure out the name of this band. !tempfix

I mean, yes, they do use big words, but um, no, just no. Not even close.

I try not to be religious about band genres but Bad Religion is not progressive rock, GOOG.

omg, I haven't listening to Horse the Band in forever. I've got to stop looking for this band though. I'm pretty happy with CC music, but I am tired of much of the music I have and the stations on Pandora. One of these days I'll be able to afford the time and space to start downloading albums again.
