Power Query: stop adding "Change Type" steps automatically
Please prevent Power Query from automatically adding "Change Type" steps after loading data from table or splitting a column. Many times it considers the whole column as numeric even when you have text in some cells. I get errors because of this all the time and have to keep removing these automatically added steps.

STOP! Before throwing more random features into SQL BI, lay out strategic guidance
Reporting Services, Analysis Services, PowerPivot, PowerView, PerformancePoint, Report Builder, Excel Services, Analytic Charts, Datazen... Microsoft's BI toolkit is a mess. Anyone who's starting out fresh could go insane trying to figure out what to use when. Add in Microsoft's tendency to randomly abandon technology and something packaged and stable like Microstrategy or Tableau starts to look like it's worth the money.

Exporting existing SP13 Power View Dashboard into Power BI Desktop
The august release of Power BI Desktop added the capacity to import Power View Dashboard created in Excel, into Power BI Desktop but... what about those Dashboards we have created with Power View for SP13? At least, capacity to import *.RDLX files to Power BI and avoid recreate them all!

SSIS - FIX THE UX! Resizing and objects flying off the page
Attempting to resize an object or reposition a object is almost impossible. It's not possible to drag or resize an object up or left; the ui changes the cursor to a (\). It's the opposite for down and right; the object flies 100000000s of pixels in an instant. You then have a design pane that needs to be zoomed out to 0.1% to see everything on one screen.
This makes arranging packages that go beyond a single data flow that has source->destination very tedious.

An adhoc cube browser tool
While all the PowerView dashboarding capabilities are very nice and highly used, majority of our customers are analysts who'd like to be able to browse through a cube to perform ad-hoc analysis. A need for an ad-hoc cube browser tool is very strongly felt in such cases. A parallel would be tools like ProClarity (while it was still available),Cognos Analysis Studio and even SQL Management Studio! We can't deploy Management Studio across all work machines for Business Analysts and no, Excel is not the best cube browser out there. Please provide a finer version of an ad-hoc cube browser so…

Power Query M script - simplify line labels
Power Query's M Script is unnecessarily wordy and hard to reuse, as each line must include a reference to the previous line's label. A solution could be a generic tag e.g. "PreviousStep" which would always point to ... (drumroll) ... the Previous Step.
This would simplify M Script and make it more readable. Reuse of code would be much simpler as rows of M Script could be copied and pasted at will, without needing to carefully tend to previous line labels.
