What is really missing in Interactions is one simple feature:
The ability to click on SEVERAL visuals to slice the report. Currently the users only can click one. The click on another visual "removes" previous selection, so the users loose their "data exploration thought flow"...
For instance, I have two bar charts (Product and Country) and one table. I would like to click on "Bicycles", then click on "USA" so the table shows only sales of Bicycles in USA.
Currently, when I click "USA", my previous "Bicycles" selection is removed.
Please add this option to keep all the selections from different visuals.

This is a repost of my idea that was closed as completed, but the 'relative date slicer doesn't allow any of the described request hence my idea is not implemented....

The new date slicer is awesome, but it would be so nice if you could set a dynamic date selection instead of a static. With a static filter the user will always have to set the dates before the saved report makes sense - especially as the report gets older.

Dynamic options could be
YTD, QTD, MTD, WTD, Today, This Year, This Quarter, This Month, This Week and so on.

I need to make ArcGIS maps Clustering theme to count the number of subscribers in each geographical area by geo coordinates inside it's bubbles.

For example,
I have table with this kind of data:

LATITUDE LONGITUDE Subscribers count
43.25667 76.92861 100
43.25668 76.92868 200

As I can see, ArcGIS clustering theme counts only quantity of geo coordinates from the source table inside the bubbles, but does not count quantity of subscribers in each bubble. I would like there be possibility to make ArcGIS to count quantity of subscribers in each bubble and make quantity to be summarized in bubbles when map is enlarged. Also I need pop-up information about the bubble content to be shown when clicking on bubble.

FREE license for sharing!
Since June this has been removed.
Microsoft communicates that it will be easier and better for users.
Well... more expensive for sure and lots of users complain about login, although I do user control and give them access to my dashboard/report.

I think to have it more user friendly again, have the sharing turned on for free.
Developers will have to pay to start sharing.
Also it shouldn't be possible for free users to re-share.

And then the price of 10,- per month would be acceptable if this increases.
I would even understand a maximum of free sharing, e.g. 100.

Help me to vote for this idea and have it user friendly again instead of revenue driven!

Currently maps don't seem to recognize the relationship between a country and a city, even if both columns have been set up with the corresponding data category in the model.

In a table with cities as "cities" and country as "country" in the data model, the cities are plotted in arbitrary countries instead of the country specified in the column for country.

Please let Power BI maps acknowledge the hierarchy of existing typed data categories and plot depending data points only in relation to their parent category context.

You may not feel the pain if you're in the US. I have a data set with cities all in New Zealand, but when I map them, they end up all over the globe, despite the "country" column specifying "NZ".

Please add your vote if you ever found a mapped dot outside of your desired country or continent.

The current Gantt Chart in the Custom Visuals Office Store is a step in the right direction, but unfortunately it is pretty much useless in it's current state.

Please add an Advanced Gantt Chart for proper project management (multiple projects with multiple activities).

- Add Milestones on top of the Activity Bars based on a data column (and preferably multiple types of Milestone icons)

- Ability to chose size of the bars (the ones we have now are huge)

- Ability to expand/collapse a group of Activities (preferably grouped by project or category)

- Let report viewers decide the scale of the timeline (e.g. let them grab the timeline to zoom in or out). Currently the Report developer sets the scale Days, Months or Years up front)

- While we are at it, please add Quarters as an option for the timeline (there is a seperate idea for this in the forum)

- Customize colors of the activity bars and milestones

- Resize Activity Name column (currently it only shows a certain amount of characters which usually results in something like "Activity Name bl...."

- Add other columns net to Activity Name (e.g. Country, Responsible, Completion % etc.)

[Will Thompson] I've just merged a couple of very close scenarios, which all have similar great ideas! Something we're considering for the future, so I'm keen to hear your feedback on this. I like this core scenario of a numeric value that is bound to a slider control, and can then be used as part of some expression.

- In a sales report, I can adjust a '% increase' slider to see what impact a small change in revenue might have had on my sales.
- In a mortgage calculator, I can change the % rate, borrowed amount and term to see projected repayments
- In a quota report I might change a 'Opportunity confidence' control to see the likely bonus I could earn at the end of the year.

Please, keep voting and help us prioritize this!

So this scenario brings what-if-analysis to the visualization without changing the underlying data source. Let's say I have a table that has numeric values (integers, floating values, etc.). I created a chart (column, line, etc.) visual of that table data. Then instead of using SUM, AVG, COUNT, DISTINCT COUNT, I now can use a math expression applied to the numeric value (say I want to see what my chart looks like if I increase sales by 10%). Then I would see the new column in my table (calculated column with new values). I can now add that new column to the chart and graph that, labeling that as 'if sales increased by 10%' to show how that would compared to the actual numbers I see.
