Ever since the 2016 presidential election, I’ve been thinking: I don’t see any future that doesn’t result in lotsa blood in the streets. :/

The map of second U.S. civil war will be as hard to draw as one of Iraq in 2007, Syria now or any US election.

Foreign interests will take advantage of the chaos and distraction to their benefit, both domestically and abroad.

Foreign states will support and supply some factions.

The second U.S. civil war will have global consequences.

At other times, they will ally with each other temporarily to battle the state, or the various factions of the left or non-faction peoples.

Some of these factions and adherents will battle with each other. They have different visions of the world and future.

At some times some of these factions will align with and defend the state. Other times some of them will pursue their own interests.

Alt-right, KKK, nazis, white nationalists, NRA, Tea Party, etc only share some commonality and very divided in many ways.

We can already see the seeds of this on the far right.

It’ll look a lot more like the Syrian or Iraqi civil wars than the first U.S. civil war. There will be lots of groups, sides and interests.

It’ll be a lot more rural/suburban vs urban. And there won’t be just two sides fighting.

In the second U.S. civil war, there won’t be just the state and a seceding state. Nor will it be strictly regional.
