    . yeah, I like that book a lot :). i also really love Gelman, Teaching Statistics, which I've used a lot in UG AI and ML!

  12. It took a Black woman author to tell the story of these Black women pioneers! Erased from books & histories of America's space achievements.

  13. In 1953 Katherine Johnson, a Black physicist, space scientist and mathematician, began working for NASA. Her nickname: the “human computer.”

  14. Dorothy Vaughan, mathematician, was NASA's first Black supervisor. Started her career as a math teacher at Moton HS <-- Google it. Historic!

  15. Mary Jackson was a mathematician. According to NASA "she may have been only Black female aeronautical engineer in the field" in the 1950s.
