    Even the argument "this happened before he was Secretary" doesn't hold water. A federal judge found in February 2019 that the plea deal Acosta agreed to was illegal; at worst, you can argue this is a "new fact" that was not known at his confirmation and demands his impeachment.

    Okay, this is getting ridiculous. Who cares if the Senate won't remove Acosta (or, for that matter, Trump)? Impeachment is about accountability and transparency. Acosta literally shielded a child-rapist; if that's not impeachable conduct, *nothing* is.
