    2016 has been a raging dumpster fire of a year. I just found out who the presumptive president-elect picked for SecTreas and am actually wondering what direction the department is going to take with a film financier heading up our nation's economic policy. FOAAS is not nearly versatile to express how I feel about the situation as an employee of SecTreas in the largest bureau of the U.S. Treasury.

    West Avenue Church of Christ is doing domestic works and, with luck, can expand into further outreach as well as assisting in emergency response. They don't have a website nor do they have an e-mail address. They can receive letters and donations via mail at West Avenue Church of Christ, 5901 West Avenue, Ashtabula, OH, 44004. Addressing elders Elmer Ford and Hays Woods in any correspondence ensures proper handling. Covering letters are encouraged as confusion can erupt at the weirdest of times.

    Our congregation is pretty small. I know I led the Domestic Missions Field Activity last week on an evangelistic outreach function. With luck we can grow the body a bit.


    It would be nice to be able to lay down the metaphorical sword I metaphorically wield as a civil servant to be able to further the work of the Lord's Church here on Earth. Too many of the callers at work act like they're either groveling supplicants or penitents approaching a priest at the confessional. With the confusion cited elsewhere, laying out alternative paths seems appropriate lately.
