For the security-minded (which should be everyone), we’ve just redesigned our security page and added a white paper🔏

Least likely use of emoji ever? Maybe! See how we built the Reacji Channeler, now available on our App Directory.

New: An app for magically moving messages with emoji. We built it for us, then realized you might like it too! More:

The Reacji Channeler, which is almost as hard to say as it is to spell, sends messages marked with specific emoji reactions - or "reacji" to a channel of your choice. You can read more about it in the blog post linked from the tweet. It's devilishly hard to describe, but much easier with examples - and very simple to actually use.

(NB: You may need to do a quick reload to see Threads in your team, but trust us, it’s there.)

  7. Jan 20

Threads now active for 100% of teams. You get a thread, and you get a thread, EVERYONE GETS A THREAD! Thanks for your patience.

  8. Jan 19

As we continue the rollout to more teams (up to 50% now), here’s a little thing for developers building for Slack.

Threads rollout reached your team, and you're all: “Threads?! What the…” Well stop right there! We’ve got your back:

  11. Jan 18

While you’re waiting for Threads to reach your team, a little post about how (and why) we built what we built.

  12. Jan 18

It’s a big feature (and for every team) so we’ll be rolling it out over the coming days. If you don’t have it yet, don’t fret. You will.

  13. Jan 18

Why the excitement about today? Glad you asked. Today’s the day we’re launching Threads. Mhm. Threads.

  14. Jan 18

Hey! It’s today already! Welcome to today, everyone! (Whatever “today" means to you.)

For the people of Android, the small but well-meaning gift of an updated (2.26.0) Slack app. Jolly good.

A Slack desktop app built for Windows 10 is now in the Windows Store. *And* it works with Windows Live Tiles. Yay! 🎉

There is an image of a Slack logo being placed into a shopping bag representing the Windows Store - a slightly obvious, but nevertheless clear image that gets the point across. Accompanying it, the words "Slack for Windows 10 is now in the Windows Store: Because that seemed like a jolly good place to put it." which was one of four variations on text and possibly not, now I look at it again, the best one. Never mind.

The good news is: An update of Slack (3.11) for iOS is now in the App Store. That is all. We have no other news. ✨🎈📱🗞✨
