Things to consider when selling through a partner

Reach more customers and gain the infrastructure you need to sell and support your app. The Microsoft Partner Network is made up of thousands of partners around the world, many of whom have their own marketplaces. If you would like to sell through one or several of these cloud-based stores, you’ll have to think about:

✔ What makes your app unique?
✔ How much of your profit are you willing to share?
✔ Do you have staff and/or content available that can teach a third-party seller how to sell your app?
✔ What is your strategy for delivering technical support?
✔ You will need to agree to some rules with your new partner(s). What are your must-haves?

How to get co-marketing and co-selling assistance

Microsoft has a dedicated team ready to work with you on joint launch planning, channel development, leading sharing and other marketing services that expand as your usage of Microsoft products and platforms grows. Microsoft Go-To-Market Services has three qualification levels:

• Introductory: All businesses with at least one app in market can access free resources
• *Silver: At least on app in market plus $25,000 in consumed Microsoft Azure revenue over 12 months, 1,000 Office 365 or Microsoft Dynamics CRM users per month average
• *Gold: At least one app in market plus $100,000 in consumed Microsoft Azure revenue over 12 months, 1,000 Office 365 or Microsoft Dynamics CRM users per month average and 10 closed SQL deals with proof of execution
