A similar defect exists in V2.  It was introduced in 2.122.  It works fine in 2.121.
 It appears to be timing related.  A delay was added perhaps to differentiate clicks
from double clicks.  Please provide a way to disable it.  Please disable it by
default except for browsers which require it.
