FB Groups is broken crap
I was excited to use FB Groups because I was hoping it would let me focus on the highest quality interactions. But the app is so buggy and broken that half the time I just bounce out of it back into the regular app to do anything. If you try to reply to a comment it constantly wants to autopredict someone's name to tag, making it practically impossible to write a comment more than a line or two. The Groups get re-sorted randomly every other time I go into the app, so I have to waste time looking for the Group I want to check, instead of going right to where it was last time. And half the time when I try to open any videos etc, the app freezes with a black screen for like 45 seconds, locking my whole phone up. I'm going to stop using it until the next update, and if these things aren't fixed, I'll just delete.
Freezes or can't post
I was SO excited when I realized I could manage groups through an app. I deleted the FB app and installed this along with Pages. The layout is good, the functionality is good in a group until I want to comment! 😠 I use a lot of emojis and anytime I add one...the post arrow disappears and all I have is the emoticon. It doesn't matter what I do. I can keep typing, delete the emoji, etc. Nothing. I have to close the app and start over. Definitely not the timesaver I need. Another problem is that as I'm typing, it's constantly pulling up names the words match - great, except that the screen pretty changes while your typing and I've unintentionally selected a name...then have to delete. It. I'm so frustrated. They need to have real users test this out...not a testing team. 🙄
One of the most frustrating apps
Like one of the other reviewers, I also started to use this app in order to filter out what I didn't want to see on Facebook. However, I started to notice that I wasn't getting all of the posts in the groups and the app doesn't allow you to comment on individual pictures unless the are part of a post or posted as a comment to a post. If you are using this app I don't think you should be limited it what you see and do. Although I'm not surprised that you are. It just means you end up downloading the Facebook app all over again so you're able to do what you can't do or see what you can't see in the separate app. Well played Facebook but it just might mean that I delete both apps and only use Facebook from my computer.
