Arthur Morehead: +Jeff Bond Makes sense, obviously I misunderstood what it meant for someone else as I dont use it on my site is because I don't like it because it is a PIA and I usually wont follow through a site if I see one (I don't like them at all) Thanks for clearing that up.....

Jeff Bond: it uses JS callbacks to eliminate most click events +Arthur Morehead, only the most suspect events require users to click, i like it asking a client to tell me they are not a robot is pretty rude to the customer, so if i can eliminate that presentation while simultaneously ensuring my database isn't flooded with spam or subjected to SQL injection attacks ... i'll take it !

Jeff Bond: +Arthur Morehead TOTALLY agree, any friction in the order process is not only a PITA, it's a business buzz kill 😕

installed once and done right, looks like this will completely eliminate the robot check box experience for 90% of clients

My website takes TONS of attacks, for me blocking nonsense is even more important than client experience, absent a blocking mechanism my site would always be down, so being able to respectfully let clients order while simultaneously protecting my position sounds amazing

i'm honestly curious, thank you :)

Jeff Bond: i'm still not sure where you'd start :)

i'd first buy the highest quality asset i could afford, one that semantically speaks directly to my audience, and rally ALL my efforts around that !

i'd start with paid advertising, using the instant opportunities to leverage into longer-term clients, letting the quality asset name draw in some early trickle business.

i'd take ALL profits from that business, invest 75% of it right back into paid advertising, and start plompling the remaining 25% towards high-quality organic.

continuing with this until revenue levels provided the opportunity to realize profits, then i'd immediately switch to 50-50% spend between paid & organic.

securing the quality asset name REALLY early allows flexibility to go for some early bang for the buck, while ensuring by the time you switch to quality organic, someone hasn't come behind you and scooped up your intended high-quality organic asset, right from under your feet ...

because you were busy running, out working and making early money, while others were working diligently from the very beginning on high quality organic.

the key for me is have a business vision early, and secure a high quality organic asset name that talks directly to clients of that business venture ASAP.

this allows a business to work on all this stuff as they go along, focused on the idea there is a constant balancing act that takes place between paid & organic.

and that is a sub-decision, within the overall framework of creating a viable business, that's where i started zara, and ... lol, i'm still not sure how you'd start :)

Zara Altair: +Jeff Bond Most small businesses start with organic because of budget constraint, as the article states, though, it's a long-term game. Instant short-term boost comes from paid advertising.
