As someone who is up to 7.0 Britain, I feel bad for Leos. They don’t get HESH stock and they have to pay to fire it. 105 mm HESH actually does damage in sideshots that aren’t blocked by soft cover, an important consideration when coping with L7-equipped tanks. The Cent Mk 10 and the Vickers get HESH stock and it’s free for them.
Definitely felt like the L7 would never get fixed; very pleased to be proven wrong!
So it’s worth it to buy my Vickers MBT now?! Time to return to Britain boys.

I'm sure a lot of people would argue against this but I actually would quite enjoy seeing this be a thing.
It would be quite a fun little gimmick for high-top tier Britain, having multiple different main armament options on one vehicle. It would add a new layer of depth in thinking from both sides too. "Does it have the L44? Does it have the L11A5?" and "Okay I'm fighting (x) nation so I should bring (y) cannon." or "Okay I died to (x) tank cause (y) cannon didn't have enough pen. Let me use a backup and bring (z) cannon this time." I'd love to see how it would play out in matches.
Or it’s entirely possible they just take the route of the Bf 109 G and K-4’s motorkanone and only allow you to swap the guns in the hangar instead of before you spawn.
It essentially copy-pastes an existing gameplay mechanic with minor changes and makes the spawn screen less complicated when it concerns just one vehicle - for a similar lack of quality of life effort, see how they didn’t implement an entirely different type of gun stabilizer just for the AMX-30s.
It’s just the least competitive. Enough armor to make it really sluggish, but all kinds of weak spots that make it virtually useless anyways; the gun is meh, okay but nothing to rave about. Basically, it’s just got a lot of downsides, especially for a type of vehicle, non turreted tank destroyers, that is already not really meta.
The Tortoise is great at doing what an armored casemate TD does as long you angle at the edge of your gun arc and it don’t try to engage at more than 400 meters because the zoom is dogshit.

Well at least in AB I can initial D my way through towns once I get my Tiger I E up to speed. AB however can’t save tanks that are slow in the first place.
Had one of those games today, got totally bamboozled and thought i accidentally joined arcade. Cried a little when i had to kill another a4.
We actually won this round, due to our north team committing to recapping the north cap. Our south team ploughed right through though.
And it seems its possible to queue as UK + Germany for some reason
