hahahaha it reminds me of the Parks and Rec episode where Ben gets into it. Hours and hours and hours of works for like 5 seconds of clip.
Its wind not black magic
well....no shit.
Not sure if the one in OP's picture is San Antonio hot springs, but imo San Antonio Hot Springs are the best in the Jemez area (and possibly the best geothermal springs in all of NM). Note - it says 0.6 mile trail, but that's only if you have a high clearance vehicle that can make it down the shitty road. A lot of people park near where the shitty road meets the paved road, and they walk the 5+ miles. SA Hot Springs is actually hot (extremely hot) relative to Spence and McCauley which are more 'warm' springs.

you seem pretty familiar with the area, are there petroglyphs in the area?
If excessive protein consumption does not interfere with ketosis, then why are we supposed to avoid too much of it?
40lbs over about 15 weeks is averaging over 2lbs a week, which is fantastic weight loss. Expecting faster weight loss than that is not really realistic.
I totally agree with you, but when you are constantly bombarded with people on this sub celebrating 10 - 20 pounds a month or even in a week as I've seen before it's hard to temper your expectations.
That’s why I recommend switching the sorting on here from “hot” to “new”, as it gives you a lot more of a realistic view on people experiences with keto.
It’s also important to note that the people losing 20lbs a month are either starting out at a severely obese weight (400lbs+), or are only talking about their first month where most of that is water weight loss. If you focus more on the “six months in” update posts over the “one month in”, again you get a much more realistic view on people’s experience with keto.
It may have been your post where I saw someone mention that, and from then on I've been reading the "new" posts.
Do you think that begging a question unrelated to my statement somehow undermines it?
You seem dismissive of possibly good research just because a guest appeared on Rogan.
I am dismissive of sweeping generalizations from a place that is known for self-promotion over actual science.
What was the sweeping generalization you disagreed with? Was it the lack of sleep leads to health issues generalization? That was the gist of the show in a nutshell.
Maybe try submitting OC yourself? I'm sure your submissions will crush these million karma "bots" of which you speak.
{Bleep Blorp this action.....} Ah fuck it, why not just ignore the pieces of shit like me?
Agreed. A cupcake wrapper doesn't make it cake. It really is more of a fancy Jell-O.
If you order a raindrop cake in Japan, this is what you get. Maybe cake refers to a handheld treat in Japan I don't know
How can a dairy product have 0 carbs? Seems too good to be true!
Most cheeses have zero carbs.
I've been counting 1 carb per serving of cheddar cheese cubes as the label says less than, but out of caution I call it 1 gram.
Yeah. I saw my first success with keto 6 years ago running CKD and cutting. Lost 35lbs, got down to 12-13% body fat, and began to actually look like a weight lifter. ....then the military sent me to Italy...Italy is HARD MODE if you are low carb. :D
Now that I’m focusing on full course triathlon, I’m trying to dial in my TKD protocol for different length, type, and intensity workouts. I used to just do everything fasted, but when performance matters and you’re doing a 3 hour bike ride, fueling is so important.
I think TKD is probably the most difficult approach, since it’s so highly personal and there isn’t really a script or schedule to follow like SKD or CKD. ...still trying to figure it out
Say I'm planning a long, strenuous hike with an anticipated time of around 6-8 hours. Would you recommend fueling with some carbs without going overboard during the hike, or stick to straight nuts and other keto snacks?
holy crap. and you get 10 servings?!? this is godly. I have to make this asap as I have missing some toast in the morning.
They initially came out of the oven super crispy and I thought they'd crumble on the first bite. After they cooled however, when I took my first bite of hamburger it had an amazingly doughy texture and withstood the moisture of the meat. My wife and I were pretty impressed
Seems a little easier than my clear history tab
Bizzaro fire extinguishers
You ever cross the river over to the Beaujolais region? Similar to a Bordeaux and a Burgundy, at a fraction of the price
