TIL how to stretch a mouse! Mice were "held by the tail and gently lifted, allowing the front paws to grasp a bar."

Now if only science could figure out how to get mice to not skip leg day...

Having said that, I wonder if stretching in the area affected is what's important or just stretching in general. i.e. does MFR on the legs reduce breast cancer tumor growth or is it specifically focusing on the chest.

Good question! What's also fascinating is that aerobic exercise doesn't seem to affect cancer survivability nearly as much as resistance exercise. Could it have to do with the mechanical action on the tumor(s)? Or perhaps the different effects on body tissues?

More information!

My company is called Nomi (https://www.nomisnacks.com/) and we're based in Minneapolis. We recently just rebranded from Fresh Bar and have at least 10,000 bars leftover with our old branding. We've tried to give them away to food shelves but have found this surprisingly difficult. Since our bars are not dried and don't use preservatives, they must be refrigerated or frozen, and a lot of food shelves don't want non-produce refrigerated goods. So I'm reaching out to r/TwinCities to help our company do something good! The bars are great for a breakfast or snack and stay good outside the fridge for roughly 3 days. Where can we donate a bunch of these snack bars so they can do some real good? Thanks for your help!

Second Harvest Heartland is a food bank distributor for the greater Twin Cities area. They take in unwanted fresh and packaged food, and buy bulk wholesale food to be packaged up and distributed to all the metro area (and beyond) food shelves. They have refrigeration and freezer units on-site for storage, so they may be able to take them and distribute to places that have refrigeration holding areas.

You can use this link http://www.2harvest.org/connect/contact/ to send the donations people an email, and they'll get back to you and see if they have the capabilities to collect and distribute the bars to people who need the food.

Second Harvest found a home for at least 5,000 of our bars! We'll be donating to Loaves and Fishes! (http://www.loavesandfishesmn.org/index.html)

Reckless challenge with no attempt to play the ball. Referees at the upper levels are taught to card unnecessary contact at the touch lines every time. No need for it.
