THE CHURCH HIGH ON A CLIFF TOP
A couple of weeks back I published a post about the Church of St Nicholas, Uphill - which stands on a cliff top. Today's photo shows the cliff on which it stands.
Just to recap: The church was built in 1080, but it is believed that there was a wooden church on this site around 700 AD and, previous to this, a Roman-British temple - about 40 AD.

Church was amazing today. God has been working on my heart the past few weeks. A once too large church had been on my mind because I slipped in a few weeks ago and caught some of a series on demonic oppression. The pastor made a 19 week series of notes and made a book for every family in the church. 70 year old pastor of a very large congregation, my heart cried out for him today. His cancer has returned. I found my heart had been softening and all of a sudden I can feel that tug at my heart again that brings tears to my eyes, the tug that bring me to my knees on my face before the alter. Thank you God for the changes in my life. Thank you for the blessings and thank you for your people. Thank you for letting me know that today’s sermon was just for me.
Today’s sermon on demonic oppression was to put on your armor. We are in a fight for our lives. We are the Army of God. We stand and fight or fall and get trampled. Let us put on our armor. Let us not only read Gods word but apply it.
God bless you all and I pray you all are blessed

The village church of Hellmonsödt
We had this before, this time from a different point of view. What I love with churches is - different to animals - that they keep still until I've taken the shot. Unless I get lost in those scary dimensions again.
