Information that may help is always the version of the Plugin, the version of Moodle where the plugin is installed (in some cases also the version of PHP). But mainly the message error you received. Screen caps are always a plus.
We are going to take a look, but I am afraid it is a problem with the YUI plugin we are using and not really with the RecordingsBN plugin itself.
What you can do for the moment is to use the default HTML table instead. You can do this uncommenting the line 254 in the view.php file and commenting 256 to 259.
I know it is not the best way to do it, but this will fix your problem for now.
And yes, it is better to use format. That is why you find the lines are still there. You can easily uncomment them as well.
I guess the plugins cannot work out of the box for everyone in the world, but we are still doing our best.
Cheers,
I don't know if anyone is watching the recordingsbn queue in the Moodle Tracker.
Thanks
Just kind of busy now with a huge pile of other tasks.
You don't need to duplicate posts, just keep an eye on the tracking system. If anything happens is going to be updated in there.
Thanks for following-up,
Thanks for your work ! I just install BBB on a dedicated server. It's works fine, it's a pleasure. So I install BigBlueButtonBN with my moodle and it's ok too.
But this plug-in "Recording BN" doesn't work with my BBB. Nothing was recording.
But it's works fine with http://test-install.blindsidenetworks.com/bigbluebutton
Anyone have an idea what can I do to resolve this ?
Best regards.
Clément
If the recordings work fine using test-install the problem is in your bigbluebutton server.
There are too many variables that might be affecting your server. The most common issue is ffmpeg right now, but you better check out the documentation http://code.google.com/p/bigbluebutton/wiki/InstallationUbuntu
Also, the best place to ask for help for this kind of issues is in the bigbluebutton mailing list. https://groups.google.com/forum/#!forum/bigbluebutton-setup
I've been testing BigBlueButton VM v0.81 with Moodle v2.8.5+ and RecordingsBN plugin. I can see the plugin works just fine if I am a teacher or administrator, but the student cannot find the list of videos (because of a default configuration I assume). So when I go in Administration > Site administration > Plugins > Activity modules > RecordingsBN to try to change the settings, I get a blank page with the title of the plugin. Could you tell me if I'm missing something, or what could be happening?
I've tried to use both versions 1.0.11 (available to Moodle v2.6 to v2.8, and v2.0 to 2.5), and I'm running Windows 8.
Thanks in advance,
Mario Coin
it seems that no page label and no recording - https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B_SQ0gfRgZZwc1JRRDkxbG1vRmM/view?usp=sharing

Can you open a thread in the forums. That would be the best place for inquiries like this because solving a issue can take a number of messages. This place is supposed to be for generic comments about the plugin.

Thank you very much for your efforts developing this plugin. I am having issues to hide/unpublish individual recordings. Could you kindly take a look at this thread:

Many thanks!
I have installed this RecordingsBN module in my moodle 3.0.2 site, and a BBB 1.0 beta server.
It connects perfectly (by the way the new feature to preload the presentation is GREAT!!!), lists and plays the recordings without any issue.
The only trouble I'm facing is that it's impossible to delete or hide the undesired recordings. I have tryed as super administration with same results. The only way I have found to solve this at this moment is deleting the published recording in the BBB server.
Is anybody else facing this issue?
