Nissan to build new cars in UK despite Brexit

Japanese carmaker Nissan announced on Thursday that it will build two new models in the UK, in its Sunderland factory, despite the British decision to leave the EU. It said it had received "support and assurances of the UK government" but gave no detail on possible financial aid. British prime minister Theresa May said in a statement that the "fantastic news" was "a vote of confidence" for the country.
