Bulgaria threatens to pull out of Afghanistan

Bulgaria will withdraw its 110-strong contingent deployed in Afghanistan if failed Afghan asylum seekers are not returned, prime minister Boyko Borissov said on Wednesday. Borissov was in Brussels for a conference where the EU and Afghanistan agreed on facilitating returns. At the conference, international donors pledged to give €13.5 billion, including €5 billion from the EU.
