Trump calls Merkel a 'great world leader'

The US Republican presidential nominee called Germany's chancellor Angela Merkel a "really great world leader” in an interview Thursday with a local reporter in the state of New Hampshire. Donald Trump, who earlier said Merkel's refugee policy is "ruining Germany", maintained that he was "very disappointed that, when she, this move with the whole thing on immigration [sic]." However, Trump added: "I was always a Merkel person."
