Today Vox published a piece called “I love the Victorian era. So I decided to live in it.” In the article, Sarah Chrisman describes how she and her husband decided to live like the Victorians. They power their home with oil and kerosene, and keep food cold using an icebox. The off-putting tone of her piece and failure to acknowledge that the Victorian era was not exactly fun for anyone who was not a well-off, white male property owner. Naturally, Twitter was abuzz.

The suggestion of sex once inherent in the notion of beds has given way to a fantasy of stylish people just hanging out in matching sleepware. Click on a couple of links and, within days, everything from the mattress to candles with scents like 'fireside' or 'bourbon blood orange' can be yours.
CALLED OUT

If you were on the Internet in the last year, you probably saw the viral video of a woman walking around New York and being subject to countless catcalls. Well, apparently she feels like the catcalls weren't the only unfair things about the video. She is suing the video's creator, Youtube, Google and TGI Fridays (huh?) for unfairly benefiting off of her creative content and likeness.
