Mac-on-Mac (MoM) is a port of Mac-on-Linux for Mac OS X. It is intended to be user-friendly.
With this software, Mac OS X 10.0 through 10.3, Mac OS 9, OpenDarwin, and Linux can be run in a separate window on a Macintosh computer running Mac OS X. The software requires X11 and a PPC-based Mac to run.
Mac-on-Mac is alpha-software. Version 0.21 is the latest available to download. Version 0.21 does not run on Mac OS X Tiger or Leopard.
Due to the Apple–Intel transition and the fact that Mac-on-Linux development has ceased, Mac-on-Mac is not being updated. Source code is available for development by other parties.[1]
While Mac-on-Mac development has been dropped by its former author its code has been partially integrated in Mac-on-Linux svn repository code and OS X will probably be a target for building.
