We are the largest publicly traded distributor of residential and non-residential roofing materials in the United States, with leading positions in key metropolitan markets in both the United States and Canada. We also distribute other complementary building materials, including siding, windows, and waterproofing systems for residential and non-residential building exteriors. Beacon purchases products from a large number of manufacturers and then distributes these goods to a customer base consisting of contractors, and to a lesser extent, general contractors, home builders, retailers, and building materials suppliers.
