    Literally saw Hoda Katebi walking in the opposite direction and went up to her like “excuse me, are you Hoda?” We ended up having chai and talked a great load about feminism 💅🏼 (Thanks for agreeing to sit with a complete stranger ☺️)

    To add to the emotional experience, I skyped the whole exhibit with my Iranian friend back in Chicago, who is a brilliant art curator & scholar on Islamic art, to show her everything she's unable to see herself bc of the Muslim Ban (she can't return to the states if she leaves)

    Just got done walking around the British Museum and damn, it's seriously heartbreaking how much they've have stolen from us. And even more heartbreaking to watch white kids trying to sit on Egyptian tombs for an instagram pic.

    I just saw one of the best lectures I’ve seen by she was super insightful, intelligent, and able to deal with a crowd that def was problematic. Thank you so much for your lecture!
