    To add to the emotional experience, I skyped the whole exhibit with my Iranian friend back in Chicago, who is a brilliant art curator & scholar on Islamic art, to show her everything she's unable to see herself bc of the Muslim Ban (she can't return to the states if she leaves)

    Just got done walking around the British Museum and damn, it's seriously heartbreaking how much they've have stolen from us. And even more heartbreaking to watch white kids trying to sit on Egyptian tombs for an instagram pic.
