    I've been meaning to write about this for some time but I rarely write atm and this is a depressing topic. Anger helps me write however and boy am I angry. Sooooo, I know some want to reclaim/recover r/MachineLearning (r/ML) but I don't think that's even feasible. Tweetstorm:

    If you are ever in doubt that we need to keep doing more to make the ML community more welcoming and more diverse, you can always look at the ML subreddit, where, whenever the topic of diversity comes up, the must upvoted comments are always the most disgusting and toxic.

    Got overwhelmed with wedding stuff, so I made a Trello board and GitHub repo, filled them with tasks and code, and appointed my partner as PM. Now we just have to deliver this wedding on time and in scope! 😅

    Spent the last day hacking on preprocessing code for mixed / categorical / missing data, only to find that this will be included in the next version of scikit-learn. Thankful for all the OSS developers out there, solving other people's problems. 🙌

    Google Assistant making calls pretending to be human not only without disclosing that it's a bot, but adding "ummm" and "aaah" to deceive the human on the other end with the room cheering it... horrifying. Silicon Valley is ethically lost, rudderless and has not learned a thing.
