OGE is expediting reviews of the financial disclosure reports of the President-elect’s nominees, without sacrificing quality.

Moving quickly! We've precleared 54% of the nominees we’ve received from the transition team vs. 29% on this date during the 2009 transition

That's why it's vital to review the #FinancialDisclosure form and the agreement. OGE & agencies ensure what was agreed to is adhered to.

OGE & agencies work with filers to resolve potential #ConflictsOfInterest and this is captured in a publicly available #ethics agreement.

By law, filers must disclose not only their own financial interests, but also those of their spouse and dependent children.

Conflicts of officials entering govt implicate criminal laws, so this prevention process is very important for them http://bit.ly/2hWxxew 

Disclosure is a #ConflictOfInterest identification & prevention tool. The process stops potential conflicts from becoming actual conflicts.

Financial disclosure is a key part of the #confirmation process for Presidential appointees, which means it's also key in the #transition.
