    Calls for subjunctive tense, not conditional, because Darwin, sadly, is very dead. Should be "If he were alive..." Still, Happy Darwin Day!

    Happy Darwin Day! If he was alive, Charles would be 208 today (as would Abe Lincoln, born on the exact same day).

    "Liar" is not an adjective; it's a noun. Also, using it to describe our President is NOT the "danger to our democracy." But lying POTUS is.

    Great thought! But grammatically incorrect. Calls for the subjunctive tense: "If I were alive then..." since I wasn't actually alive then.

    Remember sitting in history, thinking “If I was alive then, I would’ve…” You’re alive now. Whatever you’re doing is what you would’ve done.
