    The repeated introduction of this annual resolution on the Golan Heights is ridiculous. When the Syrian regime continues to slaughter its own citizens, the UN should be focused on issues of genuine urgency instead of employing tired rhetoric & grandstanding against Israel.

    The US will no longer abstain when the UN engages in its useless annual vote on the Golan Heights. The resolution is plainly biased against Israel; on Friday, we will vote no.
