Apollo 17 was the last manned Moon mission in the Apollo program. It was launched from the Kennedy Space Center, in Florida, United States on December 7, 1972. The spacecraft had a three-man crew: Commander Eugene Cernan, Command Module Pilot Ronald Evans and Lunar Module Pilot Dr. Harrison Schmitt.
