From his YouTube channel: "THE HAPPIEST REDNECK SOB YOU EVER DID MEET!"

Original Poster516 points · 6 hours ago

The source is Catfish Cooley on YouTube. Either the original video was taken down or I’m bad at searching, but here’s his channel. The source video is rehosted here, though.

Guess why I came here? To ask what this has to do with being black

This is /r/BlackPeopleGIFs where the rule is that GIFs have to have a black person.

Living through Dresden, dude probably had a more healthy respect for fire than most.

The night they came over, we spent in an underground meat locker in a slaughterhouse. We were lucky, for it was the best shelter in town. Giants stalked the earth above us. First came the soft murmur of their dancing on the outskirts, then the grumbling of their plodding towards us, and finally the ear-splitting crashes of their heels upon us – and thence to the outskirts again. Back and forth they swept: saturation bombing.

”I screamed and I wept and I clawed the walls of our shelter,” an old lady told me. “I prayed to God to ‘please, please, please, dear God, stop them’. But he didn’t hear me. No power could stop them. On they came, wave after wave. There was no way we could surrender; no way to tell them we couldn’t stand it any more. There was nothing anyone could do but sit and wait for morning.”

It's like when a Professor says you can have a one page "cheat sheet" for an exam. Good luck if you don't know the information inside and out. Endless facts at your fingertips does not equal smarts, wisdom or perspicacity.

Good point I forgot about the retro market.

No idea. Adidas and Reebok are one in the same now, though.

Reebok is owned by Adidas. But on the consumer level, just looking at their shoes and products you wouldn't know that. Adidas has the boost line which is killing it and other lines like alpha bounce. And the clothing market as well. Reebok dont really have their "thing" like how nike has "AirMax" and is able to cash in on it in a billion way.

Reebok dont really have their "thing"

I think you hit the nail on the head in your first post — Reeboks are hugely popular in fitness circles. With the exception of their basketball court dominance for a few years in the 80’s, I feel like fitness has always been their thing, even way back with aerobics and Freestyles.

FYI, the only official description I can find on the 1K Myles model is from Amazon and it makes no mention of Horween leather. Also says they’re made in Mexico. Has Wolverine loosened what “1K” implies?

EDIT: These are apparently from a 2016 autumn collab with Harris Tweed, which lines the boots. - “The collaboration features two men’s styles and one women’s style. The men’s Myles boot incorporates a double monk strap across an all leather upper featuring Harris Tweed lining. The women’s Marcelle boot features a leather and Harris Tweed combination upper. Both boots are handcrafted with Goodyear Welt construction.”

I before E except after C, and when sounding like A as in neighbor and weigh, and on weekends and holidays and all throughout May, and you'll always be wrong no matter WHAT you say!

That's a harsh rule..

“Irwin! Irwin, what is the plural for ox?"

‘Oxen. The farmer used his oxen.'

"Brian? Brian, what’s the plural for box?"

‘Boxen. I bought 2 boxen of doughnuts.’

However, Davis said, she had worked for Stone for many years, and other people who worked with Stone had already been subpoenaed.

Crooked political operator works with the Madam. What a surprise...

Davis had previously spent several months in New York's Rikers Island jail for procuring prostitution. She earned the nickname the "Manhattan Madam" in New York's tabloids after saying publicly that her escort service had about 10,000 well-heeled clients. She said Eliot Spitzer, New York's governor at the time, had been among her clients.

Lest we forget, Stone led the smear campaign of Spitzer.

Tabloids? Tabloids like the Trump aligned National enquirer? Oh look, they we're still carrying out the smear campaign last year
