The old.reddit.com subdoman breaks notifications, mod counters, and backup/restore of settings. As a work around, you can still use www.reddit.com and get the old site by unckecking this option in your preferences: Use the redesign as my default experience. This should continue to work as long as the admins leave that option.
[Note: This doesn't apply to the TB 4.x series, which is designed to work with the redesign.]
As always, old.toolbox still loves you.
...I don's see the collection options anywhere.
Which option are you referring to? On the Shield they show when using the All Movies view, with the sort set to Title. To see only collections, Go to All Movies and click on All and change it to Collections.
Why is putting a car in space shooting for the stars?
I just choked on my lasagna.
What is it you're even trying say here? Testing a rocket requiers a payload. So he loaded a car his other company makes into one.
It's a very literal textbook example of a publicity stunt. There is nothing wrong with a CEO generating publicity, but you have to be aware of the fact that the are doing so.
Woah. Overwhelmed by your wokeness.
The order I have is:
Iron Man, Hulk, Iron Man 2, Capt America: First Avenger, Thor, The Avengers, Iron Man 3, Thor: Dark World, Capt America: Winter Soldier, GotG, Avengers: AoU, Ant-Man, Capt America: Civil War, Doctor Strange, GotG Vol 2, Spider-Man, Thor: Ragnarok, Black Panther, Avengers: Infinity War
As others have pointed out, there are several ways of ordering these movies. I just chose to order mine in release order.
Edit: it appears that in my haste to copy the list I left out Doctor Strange and Iron Man 3. I will add them to the list and mark my shame with asterisks.
Damn, Doctor Strange wasn't that bad.
In her car.
It was his sweat, not something that the police would have a vial of which is how the show suggests Avarys blood was in her car.
Wow, that's really is interesting. Does the show address the extremely odd state of the blood sample they had in evidence?
Again, I'm suggesting he is innocent. I just ask because that was the main issue in the show that I really was uncomfortable with in terms of his guilt. It's very strange, IMO.
The podcast does address the sample. If I remember correctly, it's about the needle hole in the top. What the tv show doesn't tell you is that's how they get the blood in there in the first place. The guy talking about says that it shouldn't suprise anybody that there is a miniscule hole in the top of the stopper.

I have no idea how those sample tubes work, but if that's correct, that kind of kills one of the most important points the show makes. That was really the "this is fucked up" moment for me, personally.
Hey, thanks so much! I'm definitely going to listen to this podcast before PT2 comes out.

I'm not a developer, but I can't imagine it would take more than a day for a decent coder to put together a basic script that could handle this (if css style 'xxxx', make new flair code 'yyyy'), but instead it has been left unaddressed for many months at this point, and I can't fathom why.
Hey /u/creesch or /u/agentlame, as the Admins don't seem to care, is this something that could be stuck in toolbox?
Keep in mind, as a 3rd party, we (toolbox) don't have direct access to reddit's databases. What is a relatively simple conversation on the raw data for reddit would be a pretty large undertaking to do just running in a browser an parsing every flared-user's tags. And all that work and testing would be for a feature used once per-sub.
It's just so far out of TB's scope and available resources to put that much time into something the (paid) reddit devs could knock out in maybe a week's time of dev and testing. Plus they have the ability to revert it, if it all goes to shit. We don't.
Sorry I don't have a more positive response. It's just not something we could reasonably offer.
So much about this pisses me off. None more so than the line “making sync great again”. Fuck you, Plex! Borrowing a line from a piece of shit dictator was a mistake.
Fuck you, Plex! Borrowing a line from a piece of shit dictator was a mistake.
Of all the things you could be mad about in the announcement, it's using the Cheeto-in-Cheif's stupid slogan?
What’s the difference between that and Plex in cloud?
Cloud Sync was where you'd link your locally installed Plex server to a cloud storage provider like Google Drive and it would automatically create optimized version of your media for so you can stream it outside of your local network. Think of people with shitty upload speeds.
Plex Cloud was a Plex server hosted by Plex themselves. It used cloud storage providers as media drives. You would upload the media yourself. Think of people that don't want the hassle of maintaining their own server box, messing with firewalls, updating PMS.
They are pretty similar and probably shared a lot of the same backend technology, which is probably why the are both ending.

Why do you feel it's the "best"?
I'd be even more happy if it was MGM saying that.
They would have to take out a loan just to pay someone to say it.
Too bad he has the physique of a partially steamed potato.
I can't remember ever watching SG-1 and thinking "Don S. Davis looks old and fat."
RGA something like a decade older than DSD was when SG-1 started. He's perfect for the rank/role he would play.

What in the shit are you going to get from diffing a compiled binary? Some new strings, at best?
Not sure why you are getting downvoted. It’s a valid point, just coming off strongly. Comparing compiled binaries is pretty useless and plex is not open source.. reverse engineering an update seems like a waste of time as well.
I was wondering the same thing, but it seems like the people who understood my point just got here later.
Reverse engineering binaries is a very complex task, so it's an odd suggestion.

What device are you watching on? My Shield doesn't do this.
Safari on MacBook and the iPad app both give me that message every time I start watching a new vice news episode.
It's there a proper HBO Now app for the iPad?
But if they come then, why would you need the sound of it?
Also, isn't it a somewhat annoying and disruptive sound?
I'm thinking it's more likely when the street sweeper comes. It would be a reminder to move your car to avoid getting a ticket.
I mean, you could accomplish that with literally any other reminder or alarm. Also, why 6.30am? Why not the previous night? I dunno, seems odd.
Maybe the street sweeper runs at 7AM. As for the alarm sound choice, they are just having some fun with it... fun is totally OK.
Notice he said old versions. But yeah definitely never update it it's fucking terrible.
Fuck it all together. I'll never understand why people don't just sideload AirDroid. It's so much simpler even just in concept--just load a webpage on your PC and it's a remote file browser that does the same things.
listened to these on my drive up to Cleveland for the Browns haha
I'm from the future. That ride was fucking worth it!
Falcons fan checking in, go Browns!
Falcons fan...
Lord Mayfield forgives you of you sins. :)
Kidding aside, thanks. We needed this.
As someone else noted, it's the same line up as HDHomeRun at the same price. With an HDHR you are only limited to the tuners your device has and DVR recordings are MPEGTS files that you can do as you please with.
It's a solid lineup, but I HDHR's service is far better in terms of personal freedom.
The bitrate that homerun streams at is quite low at the moment. I am holding off until they improve it as they’ve said they’ll do.
That and the ongoing guide data issues with 3rd party clients like Plex. It's for sure a beta product, but the concept is really awesome. The lack of DVR limitations put it in a class that I can't see other internet-based cable replacements ever matching.
I have been using HTPC's since 2000, until earlier this year when I got a Shield. It's a fine replacement, especially since your HTPC is old.
One benefit is, one less Windows device to worry about, getting in your way, being a pain in the ass.
Another benefit is, While an app like Kodi / Plex is the same on both a PC or an Android device, you got a lot of apps designed for android TV that just look and work better for a lean back experience. Like YouTube, Netflix, Prime, Etc... Also you can Cast to your Shield since it's a casting device.
About the only downside is, some things, like maybe Kodi, might take a second or 2 longer to do some stuff. But it's a small price to pay.
I would not go back to using a PC now, There are too many things I would miss that I can do on my Shield.
I think you about nailed it. I've been plugging computers into TVs for as long as I can remember. I still remember my first gen All-in-Wonder.
I finally gave in when I bought a Nexus Player. What a world of difference not needing to maintain all the different programs, dicking with remote configs that never worked 100% correctly. Just loading YT or Netflix and them working exactly as I wanted on a TV.
With upgrading to a Shield, I honestly can't think of any downsides. Throw in great retro gaming emulation and it's just the best thing I've ever plugged into my TV. I was worried that I wouldn't have all the "freedom" and "control" I had with a full PC, but I don't miss having to fix this thing or that thing every other week.

Well, fuck me! I'd better jump on whatever this shit is.
We never recorded phone calls, and I don't know of any small business that does.
When have you ever, in your entire life, heard a recording disclaimer when calling a local small business?
You are a stupid human being.
I've seen dive-ins that project less than you.
I hope for the sake of you and your family that you are not responsible for operating any sort of a business.
Fuck you are super upset about your internet points. Grab a beer, buddy. It's OK that you don't understand words in context.

This is fucking garbage you looser. Stop spamming it.
The best fix is probably not to use an OS that was released 17 years ago, and hasn't had a security patch 4 years.
Connecting XP to the internet is fucking stupid, regardless of anyone's reason for doing so.
Yeah, but I already use atv to coordinate those. If I just used the tv, I’d lose access to my Apple content. (Yeah, I could switch back and forth, but I thought the idea was to streamline functionality.)
Well then your answer is that you don't want that single function of the GH. No one can make it work for you if you already have a setup you prefer.
Clevelander here. Is this that little fuck who shut down the mall to shoot a music video? Fuckwad
I had to Google this. It turns out he shutdown SouthPark mall. Because that's where the hardcore gangstas are at. Did he shoot the video in the Brookstone?
Did he have the mall shut down during business hours? Why didn't they do it after hours?
He got fucking arrested for it because it wasn't a planned shoot. He started a flash mob (it happened in 2011, when flash mobs were still a thing.)
The guy is a complete joker.

That's the 3PM leaving Columbus. I can't even tell you how many times I've taken the bus in the last few years for work.
It is almost never on time. Add to that all the OSU kids going back and forth from Cleveland around that time of year, and you can't bet good money on leaving late, because they take forever to load/unload when they are packed.
Rent a car and take the bus back. A one day Enterprise rental is ~$50.
