If people think they can come in and get a cheeky answer to a question that's not appropriate here and read it before mean ol' LibraryLass comes and cleans up, that just incentivizes them to break the rules.

I don't want that for you, and I don't want the extra work for me. So from now on attempts to answer egregiously off-topic questions will be removed as well.

The memetic dangers I can understand, or the things so horrible that if people knew they were out there they wouldn't be able to live with the fear it would generate, but why is the Foundation specifically dedicated to convincing everyone that they live in a totally mundane world?

Wouldn't it make the Foundation's goals easier if people knew that weird stuff existed, and if you see it you should call 911 and they'll send help, rather than accidentally stumbling into a hell dimension or unleashing some world eating abomination because you don't know any better? Why is the Foundation so completely committed to the nigh-impossible task of maintaining the illusion that we live in a mundane universe, when it seems as though we're literally busting at the seams with objects and lifeforms that are a little bit magical, but not particularly dangerous?

The only rules are this:

  1. Both parties must actually be happily married so no pretending to save face

  2. A monogamous relationship

  3. You remain at the age which you were happily married I.e. being happily married at 40 leaves you stuck in the forties

  4. You are immortal not invincible

  5. Immortal people can still do the stuff mortal people their "age state" can do like have kids

  6. Immortal people can still improve or degrade their physical condition like gain muscle through working out or lose weight due to disease

Given these six rules what do you think this does to our society if humans were always like this? What would modern day society look like if it was only a recent development? What if a ROB themselves granted this and revealed it to the world?

After the events of creating Stormbreaker, what told/informed Thor Wakanda was the place to be? I’ve seen the movie 4 times and I haven’t picked out the plot details that made Thor aware the last stone (Vision) was in Wakanda or that Thanos was there. Could he sense Thaons’s presence? Does he share a bond with Vision? Was that just how it was written? What was it?

A passing question from Lt Paris. But also... they have organic parts. Organic parts require hygiene. What do the borg do? Just wallow in their sweat and poop?

So I keep hearing that knowing he was to become Flash's greatest foe drove him insane, but, KNOWING that, couldn't he say "Well, time for a new timeline where I DON'T become his enemy!"

Was that too much to ask? Most characters when they learn of something bad about to happen, they want to change it, specially if they can manipulate events in time. Why doesn't Eobard just become a good guy anyways and help Barry out? I don't get why he HAS to be a bad guy?

Its like if Anakin KNEW he was to become Darth Vader and intentionally killed all the Jedi and joined Empire to fulfill the prophesy. Anakin would never do it and he'd try everything to not be evil.

So why is Eobard having a tough time?

edit: Oops, I realize I botched the main question title. "he goes against destiny", not does. Can't edit that :P

I mean... if this was Peter's first observation of Daredevil, who's out of costume, in action, I don't think he'd react very well.

Also, is there any evidence that Peter knows anything about Daredevil in the MCU?

I doubt Matt could talk his way out of this one...

In some alien invasion scenarios that involve humanity surviving and fighting against an alien invasion, why do they tend to exhibit hatred and xenophobic tendencies both during and after an alien invasion? Sometimes wishing genocide on the entire invading race or being prompted to kill the invader's civilian population out of revenge (ig they have civillians)?

And could this sort of attitude result in sentiment in both the human and alien sides?

If they do, do they accept that it’s inevitable and let their apprentice kill them or do they try to kill their apprentice when it happens? If they do try to kill, do they continue to mentor new apprentices until one is finally able to overthrow them?

What if instead of Snapping half of the universe all at once, Thanos decided to snap people in small groups of a million? Or a billion? Or a trillion? Or groups of a hundred trillion? How big of a snap could he have done without seemingly damaging the Infinity Stones? Would they eventually have been fried no matter how he went about it?

I assume that since he's not too intelligent, it'd be something immature?
