Fleas are wingless insects, 1/16 to 1/8-inch (1.5 to 3.3 mm) long, that are agile, usually dark colored (for example, the reddish-brown of the cat flea), with tube-like mouth parts adapted to feeding on the blood of their hosts. They interestingly do not possess a mandible.

Since #summer (kind of) has come upon us, #insects have also abounded. I particularly dislike #mosquitoes and flies. And since I am off to Thailand at some point soon, and since it's mountainous regions are mozzy central, I felt I needed some inspiration in insect defence aside from covering myself with Off lotion (since I plan to visit the River Kok). Having come upon these insect tennis video of #Jezza and #JamesMay, I feel inspired.
