Succubus?? Or True Feelings??

The Night was cool and breezy all across Vale. The Moon was a beautiful half-moon. Waxing from nothing to its fullest form. A Dark shape moved through the land of Storm pack. The Shadowy figure moved slowly, creeping along through the trees. Crossing through a sliver of moonlight, the cream and brown colored giants breaths were labored and raspy. Riptide tasted blood in his mouth, licking his lips, he tasted more blood. Spitting out the foul tasting red liquid he trod on. His body screamed at him to stop and collapse. However, he knew that he could not. His trail that he left behind was marked with droplets of blood every ten or fifteen feet. The male was disoriented, confused and weak. His heart pounded and his head throbbed. Riptide's plan had been to escape to the North into Loner Territory to avoid his pursuers. But the crippled Dire wolf had gotten turned around, now heading towards the hostile border of Moon pack. This, however, was not clear to him as the brute was barely able to walk, much less find his bearings. He moved onward, each step growing harder to take, and more painful. Blood glistened from claw marks, bites and tears all over his body, neck, and face. Scenting something past his own blood, Riptide knew that he must be close to the Border. Adrenaline coursed through his veins as he felt a sudden burst of energy. His body had kicked into overdrive, full on survival mode. Across that border was safety, freedom. Riptide, with his new found energy, quickened his painful steps towards the border. The scents were convoluted, but they were there. He moved quicker and quicker as he felt the scents grow stronger. Suddenly the ground fell out from beneath him. Tide felt himself fall some five feet before he hit the ground, tumbled, tried to catch himself and fell again. Cold water splashed his face as he fell into the rushing waters. The bank waters of the Trua river waters were deep and flowed smoothly. The current gently pulled the limp body of the warrior out to the middle of it. His body had caught on a piece of driftwood as he stumbled. This wood kept his head above water as he floated downstream. It seemed ages before Tide finally felt the bottom touch his paws again. He caught his footing, took a step and collapsed again in the shallows. The male felt a numb feeling of doom sweep over his body. He was not in Loner territory. In fact, he was far from it. Tide moved his eyes a bit to the left and saw the far bank that looked like the Anvil. If the Anvil was there, then he lay in Moon pack territory.........Home. However home had turned hostile to Storm pack wolves as the two were at war. Riptide lay more or less helpless. He knew it was only a matter of time till he was found and more than likely killed by a patrol.

The night was cool and breezy and made for a lovely walking weather. The enchantress strode along the banks of the Trua river along the border of Moon and Storm pack. Her life had been very quiet since the war. Males were not as interested in females as they should have been due to their schedules usually keeping them out. This, in turn, had made the dame bored, and some might say desperate. Suddenly, something caught her eye in the water off to her right. Some large dark shape lay in the shallows. Narrowing her eyes, the Enchantress thought at first it was a deer. "Food," She thought happily as she turned and headed towards it. The thought of a free meal made her happier inside. Spirits must be smiling upon me. Here I thought I was going to have to work hard to find a meal The dame said to herself as she approached. As her eyes adjusted to the dark shape, she stopped. This was no deer, but a wolf. She recognized the wolf quickly. It was the relative of Odin, of Storm pack. Riptide was his name if she remembered correctly. She had spotted him on patrols from her many secret voyages into Storm pack territory. A coy grin crossed her face as she approached the male. Hearing a soft groan and seeing him move slightly, the smile grew in size across her face.

Riptide heard pawsteps, gentle and soft approaching. Lifting his head slightly, he caught sight of the lady. His breath left his chest suddenly. The raw beauty of this dame......He must be dead, No mortal wolf could have been that perfect, that pristine. The dame's voice suddenly called out gently to him Oh Riptide, what have they done to you?? The dame's voice warmed his cold soul from its depths. It was so alluring he felt himself feeling relaxed just at her words. He could not speak, he was too weak for that. But he knew now, he had passed on into the next world, or so he thought. The dame came to him and smiled gently, lovingly and caringly down at him. Come, let's get you somewhere comfortable Her alluring voice sent his mind spinning as he lay there. She lowered her shoulder and put her head under his. Tide felt the soft fur under him, and he nearly melted. He felt her lifting him slowly. Gathering his legs under him, the male managed to gain some form of balance. However, he soon waivered to one side. However she was there, catching him with her soft fur Don't be falling on me, I don't want to pick you up again she said cooly to the male as he leaned against her Come my dear.....you need rest she said leading him towards the wooded lands of Moon. Tide mumbled something inaudible to almost the both of them. The Enchantress smiled softly, and lead him onward into the trees.

When the male opened his eyes the next time, he found himself laying down. Observing what he could from his position. Tide found himself laid out on a plush, comfortable bed of Moss and Pelts. The den, or whatever he was in, was roomy, quaint and homelike. Sweet smells of herbs filled the den, causing him to feel as if he could just lay there forever. Licking his lips, Tide felt no bloody taste on them. Curiosity filled his mind as he wondered what had happened. Lifting his head slightly, he found that all of the wounds had been cleaned, patched and bandaged. Narrowing his eyes a bit, Tide laid his head back down on the mossy bed. Suddenly, a noise stirred his senses. A beautiful lady stepped into view. Recognizing her instantly as the wolf from his supposed dream. He felt his heart flutter again slightly in his chest as she spotted him and smiled eerily Ah, you're awake deary she said softly to him. Moving over she checked him, sparing no physical contact. At each interval that she touched him, Tide quivered a bit with an odd feeling of excitement and nervousness. The dame eventually came back up to his field of vision. I was wondering when you would stir......If you would The leopard pelted dame said cooly to him. Tide managed to crack a weak smile and move his lips softly.. What.......is your name?? he managed weakly. The Enchantress cooed softly to him hush now.....you need rest deary As she approached, she kissed his cheek My name is Kalliope, but you may call me Kalli she whispered in his ear. And almost like a spell, Tide slipped into the Abyss of sleep and the world of Dreams
