+Walmart, why must you so regularly fail in regards to in-store pickups? It seems that almost every time I order something and you say "it's going to be ready today!" that it's not. This afternoon I ordered the Hunger Games collection and was thrilled when you said it would be ready by 7:55p today. I waited to go to the store for things I already needed because you also said to wait until I got the email saying it was ready.
Around 8:30p I got tired of waiting... While at the store, I made a stop at the pickup area and finally managed to get someone to assist me. He looked up my order and told me it wasn't ready. When I said, "Well that sucks. I should have just waited and bought it in the store because there are dozens on the shelf," he replied, "you can go ahead and get it and just not pick up the one you're pulling. They'll refund you after a while." I was kind of shocked at the suggestion, but I'm not paying for it twice and then just waiting for a refund.
He also told me, though, that the people who are supposed to do the pulls in the store leave at 8p and were mostly screwing off and not working today. While I get that corporate can't control that at all times, you should take that into account when you tell me that your stores will have my product for me that day. I've worked in places that have done this; workload and lack of work ethic were always taken into account when estimating pickup times. If we're weren't absolutely certain it could be ready at a specific time, we didn't tell out customers that it would be.
Also, you may want to work on your system... You'll notice in the picture that the website was still telling me my order would be ready at 7:55p (five minutes before the pickup counter closes). At the time of the picture, it was 9:48p. I don't know about you, but I haven't mastered time travel, yet.
