From USA TODAY
Talking Tech: Tech on campus, or in the App Store
COLUMBUS, Ohio — Nowhere is technology more widespread than on college campuses, with unlimited Wi-Fi, laptops and smartphones at the hip of nearly every student, teacher and adviser and textbooks that have switched from physical to digital. On a recent trip to the Buckeye State, #TalkingTech stopped by Ohio State to visit students at the Lantern school newspaper newsroom for a status update on how tech is changing how students learn and study. Start off with OSU's Media and Law Ethics class, which is found not in a particular classroom but on the iTunes U section of Apple's iTunes. This is one of four OSU "flip" classes taught by journalism professor Nicole Kraft, who posts lectures online and has students meet in class to discuss.
