from Paris to New York, opb EuroAtlantic, squawking 7700 shortly after departure. Returning to Paris, reason unknown.

A few nights ago we were parked facing the Worldport hangar and watched maintenance do a 757 "gear swing." Certain inspections/repairs require the landing gear to be cycled on the ground. The aircraft is first raised a few inches with really BIG jack stands.
