Here's my theory: Nigerian email scammers deliberately misspell their emails to filter out people smart enough to detect the scam. In the same way TUI are deliberately filtering out anybody sensitive to low production values.

My point is that 99.9% of drivers would also stop if somebody stood in front of their car. Not saying you're not right - there's something psychologically different about standing in front of a machine.

Droves? No. They would lose some voters but mainly in constituencies where they have a huge majority anyway. Imagine the seats they would gain elsewhere.
