My take: #Containers are succeeding in making IT far more composable + #multicloud ready. But I see with our clients that the resulting #microservices need much work to make ready for vital back office uses like reporting, #analytics, #AI, etc. See #datalakes/swamps resulting.

As part of the review make sure the backlog is scrubbed. . Cross budget year Items could be replaced by or combined with new item. See too many companies that keep legacy projects going and no longer provide the value originallly outlined.
