In fact, you should get *more* Social Security benefits when you have kids, to correct for the system’s anti-fertility bias.

"Absent the social scaffolding that makes family formation more achievable and more desirable, families don’t form as much." Rather than a simply moralistic or purely materialistic explanation for the retreat from marriage, I provide an ecological one >>

The real roots of the marriage decline: "The struggling parts of Middle America have seen not only their factories and coal mines shut down, they’ve also seen churches and sports leagues wither and die. They’ve seen the PTAs dry up and social trust erode."

This price control is actually a huge reason hospitals have been buying up doctor practices. It has nothing to do with making patients healthy and everything to do with $$$.

..it's an industry talking point by a heavily subsidized industry. It's parroted by a media whose skepticism of industry talking points doesn't extend to those promulgated by abortion flacks at SKD Knickerbocker, whose entanglements with the mainstream media are intimate.

This is like a mantra. Always said with this phrasing, to cover up that thousands of babies are aborted after 20 weeks, often fully healthy ones with healthy moms.
